a little contrast

This article appeared on my feed today. Just consider the subtitle:

India’s Auroville was envisioned as an international community free of government, money, religion, and strife. It hasn’t exactly worked out quite as planned.

My first response was an eyeroll, although I probably shouldn’t have been surprised by the quote, considering the political leanings of its source. Really? There’re people who still think that the absence of government, of money, of religion will bring about peace, joy, and harmony?

Apparently.

But worldview clashes are sometimes best seen in microcosms, so here’s an unrelated tweet by R. C. Sproul Jr. —

There is one way to make our homes safe from sin. Find your spouse. Then gather up the children. Leave the house. Now it is safe from sin.
